Brazil in Rio de Janeiro flood death total 586 peoples

The mountainous region near landslides in Rio de Janeiro and floods have 

killed at least 586 people.

Jorge Mario, the mayor also said he warned the death toll could rise as rescuers reach remote areasthat, "This is the biggest disaster in the history of the city."

television video and news pictures showed scenes of devastation, with cars submerged by water, buses and trucks with water up to the windows, homes destroyed and the survivors crying surveying the carnage.
